Cafe 1134...Food for the healthy appetite

Posted on August 09, 2010 by Phil.

Cafe 1134 in Coronado, CA offers a full espresso bar, loose leaf teas, beer, pastries and a full breakfast and bisto menu as well as an ambience equivalent to a casual and quiant cafe you would find in a small european town. With a patio in the back and sidewalk seating read the latest edition of Coronado Eagle and Journal, Cafe 1134 is a local favorite that provides internet access and some of the most delicious coffee on Coronado. Located at 1134 Orange Ave, the Cafe is easily accessible to visitors and residents craving a healthy meal and a nice cup of coffee.

Their Breakfast and Bistro menu offer some very satisfying meals. My favorite is the California Egg Burrito, an ensemble of eggs, avocado, bacon, tomatoes and cheddar cheese. A burrito that can be described as "the basics at its best". Their are other great items on their menu such as the Belgian waffle with fruit, Brie in puff pastry, amazing panninis, wraps and salads that will make you a repeat customer.

In addition to their fantastic menu and coffee, the customer service I recieved was exceptional. The food arrived promptly and felt I was very well taken care of during my visit.

This place has been in business for 15 years and is definitely a place to visit if you are new to Coronado or San Diego or maybe you may need to venture away from your regular routine to give this place a try. I'm sure you'll be satisfied.
