Lowered Maximum Loan Limits

On January 1st 2012, VA will be reducing their maximum loan for 100% financing in Coronado and San Diego County to $477,000. Other areas will follow where Orange County is dropping to $621,000 and Riverside County will remain at $417,000. If you are a veteran looking to obtain a VA loan for over those amounts, you would need to have a down payment of 25% of anything over.
If you are a veteran looking to invest in Coronado Real Estate after the New Year…you could for example purchase a property for $577,000 with a $25,000 down payment.
